          Modern Family is one of the best TV show that show what going on in the American culture. All the whole movie show the reflect of American pop culture very clear. For example, in the show have a gay couple, and this couple show that they can lives their life as normal as straight people. It show that gay is a part of American society and nothing wrong with how some people show up they are guy. Comparing to the past that gay people were not acceptable in community. Moreover one of the main character was an mid sixty years old person who get marriage to an young lady from Columbia. In the past people might think old men with the young ladies seemed very dirty for machine, also racism of people who from the place that has lower status in different country was a bad match. Now these kind of thing seem so normal, and most people do not care it anymore.

          It was so strange for me when some one gave me to try prosciutto with cantaloupe. I was a bit disgusted because Thai culture never eats raw food. It seem like prosciutto and cantaloupe was a bad match for me. I thought, raw meat and fresh fruit were a strange combination. However I ate them. I was so shocked because they were the best combination between salty and sweet. It hard to believed only two simple ingredients gave such a smooth feeling in my mouth. The cantaloupe smell made the meat smell less, but prosciutto gave the strong flavor to light the sweetness. This mix came out so perfect.

The Gladiator

The general of the Roman Empire changed to be a slave. From a slave he changed to be a gladiator, and the gladiator turned out to be a legend that salvaged the Rome.

Ridley Scott, one the best American directors presented us the best film about a Roman epic historical drama. Moreover, David Franzoni, the famous American screen writer made the best screenplay about behind the scenes in the movie.

The ideas of of how the Roman people believe in the emperor, and the dark side of the great empire were adapted from the truth story. The political and monarchic systems that balance each other were not balanced anymore when the political side and the emperor side had not agreed no the same future plan for Rome. Then, they used the great arena as a chess game to overthrow each other.

In “The Gladiator”, Maxcimus Decimus (Russell Crowe), the grand general of great Roman Empire served Marcus Aurelius (Richard Harris), the emperor for a long time. Because Maxicmus was an honest and talented person, the emperor trusted and loved him as his own son. However, Marcus was dying because he was so old. He wanted Maximus to be a new Caesar and continued his ambitious. Sadly, the son of the emperor, Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix) could not accepted his father's decision, so he murdered his father and established himself to be a new Caesar. Because  the prince was scarring Maxcimus, Commodus ordered the soldiers to assassinate him. Maximus ran away barely alive, and he was bought as a slave by Proximo (Oliver Reed), the gladiator gambler. In the meanwhile, Rome celebrated the new emperor by starting the coliseum tournament in one hundred and fifty days. Proximo brought Maximus to the tournament as a gladiator. The time had come; Maximus and Commodus saw each other again. The rest of the film is about the gladiator fighting against the emperor, and bring back the belief of Marcus Aurelius to people of Rome again.

In fact, I am not a real fan of action dramas movie, but this movie is different. This epic historical movie changed my attitude about my movie genre style. The director's skill and the plot of the movie are great. Most actors in the movie acted very well, especially the main actor, Russell Crowe. Special effect and custom design are high detail and seem so real. Also, the scene and setting of the movie are very organized and beautiful. Moreover you will see Ridley Scott shows the possible fact of real life in the story that really is touching to the audiences. This movie is a magnificent work.

 This movie is one of the best movies; do not miss it. Actors in The Gladiator are the experienced actors. The story is very good. The battle scenes in the movie were realistic. The orchestra and music in the movie is really great. Also the theme song of the movie “Now We Are Free” was sung by Enya, the Irish singer who has such a beautiful voice. Give it a try, this movie will be a new experience for you.

          Think about how music is important to you, Music is a part of our life, and it is important to me because it gives me something to look forward to everyday. "Tear In Heaven," I chose this song because it has a deep passion and full of feeling that can effect to the listener the connection of lyrics show how he love his child never end. Also, I heard this song first time when I was a university student. This beautiful melody was hit me at first and I have never forgotten it.

Do I Look Like Public Enemy Number One

          This story had a really interesting name. When I heard the name, I sudden wanted to know what the story would be about. Then I chose it as my next reading assignment, This story was really deep, it hid a lot of meaning and feeling of the author, Lorraine Ali. The most interesting in the story were how American and Arabic make the stereotype and discriminate again each other without trying to understand and know each other. How funny when we talk about Arab, most people's mind will pop up the picture of bomb-lobbing religious fanatic or the violent religious people who love to burn other religion's temple. I mean, many stories were true, but many of them were made up stories also. This story showed that people loved to think everything base on themselves and believed without logic. The first question that came in my mind was “should Lorraine Ali deserve this kind of bad life?.” Then the next question was about how many innocent Arab or American kids had a bad life from adults' bad attitude. The good example was when Lorraine's sister was a kid, and her friend asked her that was their dad a bad people. This was so oblivious that the old generation planted their bad attitude as hate and fear in their children's head. In my opinion about this story, we can learn a lot from it, and we should look into ourself first who we are, to see that we are the same kind of people in the story or not.

Thailand preserved its quintessential thai-ness with its history and culture purely all it’s own without a tinge of foreign colonization. Having the finest culture and backgrounds make the Kingdom of Thailand an attractive and remarkable country to visit and in fact, Thailand remains one of the best bargains in the world.
